A Day in May
In 2015, marriage equality was enshrined in the Irish constitution by popular vote. At the time, journalist Charlie Bird conducted a unique series of interviews around the referendum and Colin Murphy wrote a play celebrating it called A Day in May. Colin sets out to investigate the effect the referendum had on those whose interviews were featured in his play
