Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the final, which sees the remaining couples perform a dance chosen by the judges, their showdance and their favourite routine from the series. The people with the paddles - Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke - will critique each performance, but it will be up to the viewers alone to determine who will take the glitterball trophy from last year's winner Chris McCausland. No doubt there will also be an emotional farewell to presenting partners Tess and Claudia, who are stepping down from the series - although they will be back one last time for the festive special on Christmas Day
