When faced with a hefty dentist bill, Lovejoy agrees to settle it by investigating the alleged death by drowning of Terence Sullivan, a fellow antiques dealer. It doesn't take long to determine that Sullivan is still alive, having taken up residence with an attractive stewardess. When Charlotte sees Lovejoy's caring side towards the 'widow', she feels she may have misjudged his character and finally gives in to his seductive charm.
