A 1990 edition of Arena made to celebrate the centenary of the mystery writer's birth, looking at the life and work of the woman who created Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot and The Mousetrap. The programme looks at how an adolescent Christie read crime reports from newspapers and discussed the ways in which people had died, and also examies the author's mysterious disappearance in 1926
