On a moor outside of Shipton Abbott, a woman is found face down on the ground, with an arrow through her shoulder. The victim, Niamh Kirby, didn't see her attacker, and there's no trace of their presence or weapon at the scene. As the team digs deeper, a feud between Niamh and her brother-in-law is uncovered, which may or may not be relevant. Meanwhile, Anne dives into the planning of the wedding, but Humphrey and Martha worry that she might be a little too invested in their fairy-tale ceremony after her recent romantic entanglements.
