Drama telling the true story of the friendship between a Welsh schoolmaster and a teenage tearaway who would go on to become global stage and screen star Richard Burton. Young Rich Jenkins is being raised by an alcoholic father in Port Talbot, where it seems his dreams of becoming an actor will never be realised. But then school teacher Philip Burton recognises the boy's raw potential and goes on to tutor him. Co-starring Harry Lawtey, Lesley Manville, Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Steffan Rhodri
