A deep dive behind the stories of Ireland's most famous surnames. Mazz O'Flaherty, Dingle record shop owner, goes in search of the history of the O'Flaherty surname. Her story takes her to Galway and onto the Aran Islands as she is interested in the fact that Oscar Wilde had Flaherty as part of his surname. Mazz meets historian Adrian Martyn who shows her an O'Flaherty Crannóg in Caherlistrane in Co Galway, followed by Aughnanure Castle, which the O'Flahertys resided in at the peak of their power
