FIFA World Cup 2026
Norway v Senegal
Norway v Senegal (Kick-off 1.00am). Laura Woods presents coverage of the second match in Group I for both teams, held at New York/New Jersey Stadium in the USA. Norway were in outstanding form in qualifying, winning all eight of their matches to top a group containing the likes of Italy and Israel, with Manchester City star Erling Haaland scoring an incredible 16 goals. However, they face a tough test against the Senegalese, who reached the last 16 in 2022, losing out to England in a 3-0 defeat. The African side lost their opening match of this year's tournament thanks to a 3-1 defeat to France, while Norway got off to a perfect start after they hammered Iraq 4-1 as Erling Haaland scored a first-half brace.
