Giles Coren and Monica Galetti travel more than 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle into Swedish Lapland to work in Icehotel in the village of Jukkasjarvi. Using two-ton blocks of ice hacked from the nearby River Torne, Giles works with a team of international artists to create individually crafted rooms and is taught how to make drinking glasses from ice, while Monica learns how the head chef uses natural ingredients found in the nearby forest; and meets Manne, an 82-year-old man who supplies reindeer meat to the hotel
