The rugby player-turned-academic and mental health advocate sets out on an emotional quest to remember more than 1,300 people buried in unmarked graves in the grounds of the former St Loman's psychiatric hospital in his native Mullingar. He uncovers stories of adults and children who were committed, died and buried under numbered metal crosses without names. Today, even those crosses have been removed. He explores the burial practices of patients unclaimed after death and investigates how many more institutional graveyards there are like this around the country - and what can be done to respect and protect them
