The lads enter the Barra and Vatersay Potato Competition. While they await the results they head indoors and create some potato-based dishes. Ruaridh makes his speciality fish pie with all locally caught ingredients, topped off with a thick creamy potato mash. While he is busy with that Uisdean helps him with his home-made Gnocchi. In return Rauridh makes an octopus starter under Uisdeans instruction, while Uisdean prepares pommes anna and steak
