Pilot for the military drama about 18-year-old Molly Dawes, who is desperate not to turn out like her mother - pregnant with her sixth child - and layabout father. So the morning after a hard drinking session, she walks into an Army recruitment office and tentatively asks about a job in the forces. The next thing she knows, she is on a two-day assessment course to find out whether she is a suitable candidate for basic training, and although she finds it hard to settle, the examiners see her as a rough diamond.
