The ITERA adventure race involves running, mountain biking, trekking and paddling an estimated 600kms in five days. Calum Maclean captains a team of elite adventure athletes - Marie Meldrum, Kerry MacPhee and Angus Murray - in the hardest event of its type ever held in the Scotland. Racers don't see the route until the night before the event starts and with no set route to follow, they must plan their own way between checkpoints
