On 24 June, 1948, the SS Ormonde docked at Railway Pier in Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne, with passengers including 250 British children without parents or family to begin a 'new and better life' in Australia. This docudrama follows the stories of six British orphans who were among those 250, only to have the tragedy and heartbreak they left behind repeat itself in their new country
