Olga makes a new friend, Venables the toad. But when Karen reveals that the Sawdust family are planning to have toad-in-the hole for dinner, she mounts a rescue mission to hide Venables and keep him safe! While Graham and Fangio make hiding places in the compost heap, Noel is encouraged to dig a deep hole in the vegetable patch. This results in the destruction of Mr Sawdust's beans! Its finally revealed that toad-in-the hole is human language for sausages in batter. Olga is very relieved, and the Sawdust family sit down for beans in-the-hole!
