Portugal v Uzbekistan (Kick-off 6.00pm). All the action from the second match in Group K for both sides, held at Houston Stadium in the USA. Portugal topped a group containing South Korea, Uruguay and Ghana four years ago in Qatar and then thrashed Switzerland 6-1 in the last 16. However, their tournament came to a halt in the quarter-finals when they were beaten 1-0 by Morocco. While that result was something of an upset, it would be an even bigger shock should they lose this evening against a team who are playing in their first World Cup finals as an independent nation and have very little experience of facing European outfits. Both of these teams got off to disappointing starts in their opening group games on Wednesday as Portugal were held to a 1-1 draw by DR Congo, while Uzbekistan were beaten 3-1 by Colombia
