Action from the fifth and final stage, a 123.km route beginning and ending in Royal Leamington Spa. The route headed north past Kenilworth Castle before looping south via Wellesbourne and Shipston-on-Stour. A series of late climbs, including Sun Rising Hill and Burton Dassett Hills Country Park, provided one final opportunity to attack before a fast finish beside Jephson Gardens
