Ruth Vichos and Brian Cunningham are thinning and replanting biennials they sowed in June. Ruth collects seeds from the flowers that have blossomed this summer and sows them for future colour. Brian has a masterclass on hedge trimming, and there is a visit to a garden designed for the Chelsea Flower Show, but is now taking root in Cumbernauld
