In Kettering town centre, CCTV team observe a man on the street drinking alcohol with his friends before driving off. When the suspect floors it, a high-speed cross-county pursuit ensues, led by advanced driver Sandra in the Volvo XC60. Lucy and police dog Bryn are called to track down some men suspected of stealing goods from lorry curtain-sides, and the canine's super-sensitive nose quickly tracks them across a dual carriageway into a field of nettles
