He is astonished to discover that Arthur was caught up in one of the most important battles of the war. On another branch of the family tree, Ralf is thrilled to confirm a family rumour that he is linked to a Welsh international footballer - his great grandfather. On returning to his home town of Manchester, the actor is delighted to learn that his four-times great grandfather played a key role in the industrial development of the city
