Five of the remaining chefs compete in the real world at a pop-up restaurant in Boxhall food hall in Central London, with each of them coming up with a dish to impress 25 specially invited diners. The one judged most popular will send that chef straight through to the semi-finals. Back in the studio, the other hopefuls will have one last chance to stay in the running by cooking a family favourite - food that has meaning and is, above all, worthy of a place in the semi-final
