Alex Polizzi sets out to boost the fortunes of the Crown Inn in Lewes, East Sussex. As well as being stripped of one of its three stars by the tourist board, the hotel has received a succession of scathing internet reviews, and owner Karen Lloyd has lost more than £32,000. After spending a night in the establishment, Alex sends in the deep cleaners, renovates the bedrooms and reorganises the staff in a bid to transform the hotel's reputation
