Documentary exploring life inside HMP Long Lartin in Evesham, Worcestershire, a maximum-security prison which holds some of Britain's most brutal criminals, the majority of which are serving life sentences. Some of its notorious inmates include the Suffolk Strangler, serial killer Steve Wright, who murdered five women, and Colin Ireland, the serial killer who killed five homosexual men. Female staff reveal what it's like to work around high-profile criminals who have killed women, ex-inmates share their stories of dealing and taking illegal drugs, as well as brewing up their home-made alcoholic drink called hooch and enjoying parties on the prison's wings
