Bruce Parry travels up the Amazon to meet a Venezuelan tribe. The Sanema believe in the presence of powerful spirits surrounding them, with which their shamans can communicate through the use of hallucinogenic snuff. The explorer's last challenge involves training as a shaman to take part in a ritual in which, he is told, animal spirits will leave a song for him
