After a courageous battle with cancer, Joan passed away in 2023, leaving a remarkable collection and 17 heartfelt letters for her extended family. In those to her children, she urged them to dispose of her possessions with care. The auction proceeds will fund future family memories that Joan would approve of, including a long-planned trip to the USA
