Fánaíocht
A cinematic celebration of music and its nomadic essence, exploring the musical migrations that define its evolution through time and geography. Ray Cuddihy takes us on a journey through Galway's inaugural Songs from an Open Road festival and features highlights from concerts, intimate interviews, and fly on the wall observations that highlight the opinions of our featured artists. Participants include Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Indian musician Sarathy Korwar, Jessie Lloyd, an Australian Aboriginal singer, social historian and cultural practitioner of Indigenous song and many others
