Antique restorer Koji Mayuyama and his son Yu undertake the restoration of a ceramic horse from the Edo period. A previous restoration is now showing signs of age, and a new approach is needed to give the horse back its stallion stance. The Mayuyamas are also charged with the repair of a beautiful Nabeshima-ware plate belonging to a living Japanese national treasure
