Sweden have a fairly disappointing record of qualifying for the World Cup in recent times, only appearing three times since they finished third at USA '94, and they had to rely on the UEFA play-offs to secure their spot this time around. For Tunisia this is their third consecutive appearance at a World Cup finals and their seventh overall, and they'll hope to take advantage of the new expanded format and qualify for the knockout stage for the first time. They came up short in Qatar four years ago despite claiming a credible 0-0 draw with Denmark and memorable 1-0 victory over France, with a 1-0 loss to Australia ultimately seeing the Socceroos finish above them in Group D as they progressed to the last 16 alongside eventual runners-up, Les Bleus.
