A successful author finds his relief at being rescued from a near-fatal car crash is severely tempered by the discovery that his saviour is a fan with psychopathic tendencies. The situation takes a turn for the worse when she discovers he has killed off her favourite character - and sets about coercing him to do a rewrite in nightmarish fashion.
