Gregor MacLeod visits friends throughout the Western Isles who show him their favourite recipes. These are the recipes they can always depend upon - true crowd-pleasers around the table. In Point on the Isle of Lewis, he samples a feast of Moroccan-spiced lamb flatbreads, then a moist gingerbread with crystallised ginger in Stornoway. At home in Callanish, Gregor gives artic roll a modern twist. This is an adult's version with a coffee and fudge ice cream centre and a rich dark chocolate sponge
