Republic of Ireland v France (Kick-off 7.30pm), Marie Crowe presents coverage of the 2027 FIFA World Cup Group A2 qualifier at Tallaght Stadium. The Republic qualified for their first World Cup finals last time out in 2023, but have been handed a tough group this time around with the French, who have reached at least the quarter-finals in the last four stagings of the competition, plus the Netherlands and Poland. Just one team progresses to the finals automatically, but the other nations will participate in the play-off phase.
