Jeanette Kwakye presents coverage of the opening session on day one from Alexander Stadium. The women's 100m gets under way with the heats and a strong British quarter consisting of reigning champion Dina Asher-Smith, Amy Hunt, Imani-Lara Lansiquot and Daryll Neita will all expect to progress. Heats also take place in the women's 400m hurdles and men's the men's 800m and 400m. In the field there is qualifying for the men's and women's shot put and men's hammer and long jump.
