Coverage of day two from PreZero Arena Gliwice, which features the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final. Luke Humphries was the only seeded player to fall at the quarter-final stage last year, as he lost a 6-5 thriller to Michael Smith, who would then go on to meet top seed Luke Littler in the last four and then be on the wrong end of a nail-biter, losing 7-6. Littler would take the title by beating Rob Cross 8-3 in the final, with Cross having progressed to the showpiece match via a 6-4 win against Stephen Bunting and then a 7-2 triumph over Michael van Gerwen. Bunting has been the form player in the early stages of the current World Series campaign, winning in Bahrain and Denmark and finishing as runner-up to Cross in the Netherlands
