With the Bayeux Tapestry being displayed in Britain for the first time in almost a thousand years, Joe Crowley and Tom Heap are in East Sussex to discover what traces of this extraordinary story can still be found in the landscape today. Joe explores how the boats that carried the Norman army are still being built in the region using traditional methods, and investigates the flourishing vineyards. Tom meets a farmer rearing descendants of the native long-horned red cattle depicted in the tapestry and walks the battlefield from both Norman and Saxon perspectives
