Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer host the opening semi-final live from St Jakobshalle arena in Basel, Switzerland, as the first 15 acts go head to head for a place in Saturday's musical extravaganza. Countries competing tonight include Iceland, Poland, Ukraine, Norway, Croatia and Cyprus, while reigning champions Switzerland, Italy and Spain - who automatically quality for the final - also show off their songs.
