South Africa's Aldrich Potgieter became just the second non-American golfer to win this event last year after he came out on top in a play-off against Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk. Before that only Australia's Cameron Davis was the only other player from outside the United States to win this tournament, with victories coming in 2021 and 2024
