Part one of two. A child abandoned in a busy market alerts police to the fact his nanny has been abducted and badly beaten in what turns out to be a case of mistaken identity. Neil recognises the intended target as a psychiatrist he worked with on a previous case in which a mental health patient in her care was shot dead on his orders - so their reunion is less than cordial.
