Film-makers Simcha Jacobovici and James Cameron and a group of archaeologists, scientists and historians embark on a search for the true location of the fabled lost city with the aid of a virtual map gleaned from the works of Plato. Their quest also makes use of archaeological finds, satellite photographs, manuscripts and underwater exploration as they attempt to get to the bottom of the story
