Henry VIII wins the hand of his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn by divorcing his first queen Katherine of Aragon, leading to a cataclysmic rift between the English Crown and the Vatican. However, when the marriage fails to produce a male heir, Henry and his council bring allegations of adultery, incest and treason against Anne, and condemn her to death. Historical drama, starring Richard Burton, Genevieve Bujold, Anthony Quayle, Michael Hordern and Irene Papas.
