A kayaker has called a mayday after getting into trouble near the Farne Islands. Although he is able to communicate his location via his VHF radio, his voice is faltering, and it's a race against time for the Seahouses crew to find him. In Crantock, north Cornwall, the lifeguards are alerted by a teenage boy that his uncle has been caught in a rip current at the north end of the beach
