Fake or Fortune? What Happened Next
Music Memorabilia
Two year ago, Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould took on a couple of musical mysteries. They set out to demonstrate whether a Hawaiian steel guitar called 'Silver Queen' once belonged to Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones and prove that a baby grand piano, now owned by 1990s pop star Chesney Hawkes, once belonged to John Lennon of the Beatles. Since the original programme was broadcast, they have a selection of new theories about the guitar's possible owners and further historical research into Chesney's piano
Fake or Fortune? What Happened Next airs on BBC One South East HD at 8:00 PM, Wednesday 19 August. (Subtitles, new.)
