It's Mother's Day but Norman only wants to go skateboarding. He makes Dilys a very unsafe candle holder and when she takes it to the Whole Fish Cafe a fire starts. / The Fire Service is being put through tests conducted by Chief Fire Officer Boyce. Norman Price decides to put on a magic show and wants it to be the best magic show ever! / Norman practices his magic act for the talent show, but it turns out that his assistant Mandy is better at magic than he is. / The Pontypandy Pioneers go exploring in some mountain caves. Mandy is interested in bats but Norman is terrified at the prospect of bats flapping their wings at him. / Everyone goes to the beach for a picnic but Lily needs help when she gets stranded on a sandbank.
