Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman and the Strictly entourage head to Blackpool's world-famous Tower Ballroom, where things get started with a routine featuring the professionals and pop superstars Steps. Over the years the Tower Ballroom's elegant surroundings have been host to thousands of amateur and professional dancers and tonight the tradition continues as Alex Kingston, Amber Davies, Balvinider Sopal, George Clarke, Karen Carney and Lewis Cope battle to get their names at the top of the leaderboard - although La Voix will not be with them after sustaining an injury
