Jane believes that marriage with boyfriend Tommy is just around the corner, but cracks soon appear in the relationship and a toxic pattern starts to emerge. Now living together, they try to integrate into each other's social circles, but some of their friends are disapproving of the relationship. Confronted with the sudden appearance of a ghost from her past at a party, Jane starts to unravel and a make-or-break holiday has disastrous consequences.
