This comedy pair have only recently got to know each other and couldn't be more different - Darren is a former bouncer and self-confessed city boy with an obsession for social media, and Ria is full of adventurous spirit with a PhD and autism. She's persuaded him to go rogue and hit South Africa, and it's 1.2 million square kilometres of wilderness just waiting to be explored. They begin their 800km journey getting to know each other better in Cape Town before heading inland and off-road, tackling ancient valleys, jagged mountains and vast plains seeking out adventure on their way to the tip of the continent. This whirlwind trip into nature and the unknown helps them both face things in life they find a challenge
