Danny Sebastian presents an episode focused on vintage board games. He visits a toy and model museum in Brighton and recalls the teams who gambled on such table-top treasures at auction. In Surrey, a magician and his son held faith on a 100-year-old olive wood card game counter, while in north Wales a duo hoped to put their opponents in check with a chess set carved from a tree trunk. Danny also learns about the ancient origins of snakes and ladders and plays a boisterous game of skill designed by injured First World War soldiers
