Martin Roberts heads to Stoke-on-Trent to see a mid-terrace that hasn't quite made its mind up about how many bedrooms it has. Martel Maxwell is in Chatham, Kent, to see a former barn with planning permission for an interesting conversion. She's also in Grimsby, north-east Lincolnshire, to see a three-bed mid-terrace she struggles to be optimistic about. All three properties are then sold at auction and the successful bidders share their ambitions for their new acquisitions
