Following the painful breakdown of his marriage, lost soul Shane nervously enrols in a stand-up comedy course. During repeated journeys to classes, he strikes up a friendship with unlicensed taxi driver Eileen, who is making ends meet behind the wheel of her ex-boyfriend's minicab.
