Gabby Logan presents further coverage of the evening session on day one from Alexander Stadium. The women's 100m final is the concluding event of the night and it was won by Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith two years ago in Rome. The men's 5,000m also takes place this evening and there was another British medallist in that in 2024, with George Mills taking silver behind Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen. Medals are also awarded in the men's shot put and the mixed 4x400m relay.
