The contestants are sent to Wotton House, a grand hotel in the Surrey Hills, where they must each transform one of the nine bedrooms to create a space that reflects their signature style but with an eccentric British twist. The designers relish the challenge, embracing the idea of British eccentricity, although some take a more liberal approach, leading to surprising results. Alan Carr follows their progress, while helping Michelle Ogundehin survey the spaces is guest judge Guy Oliver, who has designed the interiors for some of the best-known hotels in London
